How to afford being fabulous

Being able to afford a fabulous wardrobe may seen like a dream but it can be your reality. These tips will help your wardrobe to be fabulous without breaking the bank.

1.  Save up for the items you want

By putting away money each month, you can afford an amazing handbag or pair of shoes by the end of the year. Over a couple years, you will have built an amazing wardrobe .

2. If you can’t wait that long, then mix expensive and cheaper items together.

You can look fabulous without that huge price tag. Stores like H&M and Forever 21 have the latest trends at a small price. You can then pair a fabulous bag with a shirt from H&M and jeans from Forever 21 and no one will know the difference.

3. Sample Sales

Sample Sales are always the best times to purchase your favorite designers. Sites such as 260 Sample Sale and The Clothing Line offer sales at up to 75% off so you can afford the items you’ve always wanted. I once found a $700 Alice and Olivia bag for $90 at a sample so they are legit.

4. Discount websites

If you’re looking for amazing deals and don’t want to move from your couch, sites such as Gilt, Haute Look, and Rue La La are the places to go. You can get your favorite designers at a discount price during a particular sale. Just make sure to get the items you want before they sell out.

5. Pre-loved designer items

Another way to get the clothing you’ve always wanted is buy purchasing used or vintage items. You can buy pre-owned items from Bag Borrow or Steal  or other vintage websites but make sure that the website is not a scam.

These tips should help you find some fabulous items on a budget just in time for fall and if all else fails put them on your Christmas list.
